A late payment happens if the subscription payment on your card is not successful by 1 am on the day of your debit. Since Rentoza isn't a credit provider, we have to be quite strict about late payments. Note also that we do not charge your account; we charge your card. So it's important to make sure that your online purchase limits are high enough to cover your subscription, and if applicable, that your virtual card is active.
If you do miss a payment, here's what can happen next:
- You'll receive a link via email to make payment manually
- Once payment is made the system may take 2-3 hours to deactivate the legal process and reactivate your device
Should your payment continue to be late, you may also receive payment reminder popups, and potentially legal notices. In the event we're forced to pursue legal channels to recover your payment, you'll face potential penalties for the full value of the subscription and asset, not just the outstanding monthly fee.
